easter island heads, maybe ...
i guess almost the opposite of the robots from yesterday ? this meeting had, once again, gone on too long; but not really that bad considering. i think that these doodles are simply due to the fact that i had a nice pen.
note to self, don't take nice pens to important meetings.
also, note to self, writing 'note to self' makes you look like a git!
long time, no post. i know, i know, how are you ?
hold on a minute... have you been working out or something, because you look great!
it's not only the increased workload that has impacted on my posts of late, although their frequency and intricacy have certainly been diminished as a result; no, it's the fact that it's a faff to hook-up my laptop, fire up the scanner, and get the damn things into electronic format.
so my solution - to which this post bears testimony - is to see if i can get away with taking pictures with my new mobile 'phone, digitisation on-the-fly if you will.
lets see how we all feel about the picture quality, shall we? looks a little fuzzy and dull to me, but maybe i just need to take the 'photo outdoors next time.
ok, lets see then, superman (no surprises there), a few stylised faces which appear to become a customised mac os logo - which i have a feeling that i might be using in the near future... watch this space !

nothing profound, or particularly impressive i'm afraid.
it's been rather busy in the office for the last week or so, all to do with diminishing resources in the team... turns out i'm actually finding myself busy, and i'm having to catch-up on work in meetings - rather than doodling away !
don't worry though, new resource on the horizon...
some kind of dinosaur head, which amused me during a 90 minute friday afternoon meeting (and they expect me to pay attention !!!)
the coffee was rotten, and the biscuits were kept at the other end of the table (too conspicuous to get up and reach over for some during the various updates and discussion points)
still one of my favourite meetings because it's an ongoing exercise in arse-covering; these guys have messed-up good, and are desperately trying to save face by doing some serious last minute maneouvering.

i like this one, not sure why i like it so much... there was a point where the face was going to transform into one of the key figures from 'les demoiselles d'avignon'.
i'm glad it didn't.
a robot, rocket & head combo.
looks like the robot is chasing the nice shiny rocket ship, away from the planet with the large immobile stone head-shaped edifice.
alarmingly, after this full-day meeting, i can identify myself here (robot) reaching for the unattainable ideal (shiny rocket ship), whilst surrounded by a change-averse organisation (head).
